We are just three days away from the official commencement of The Montgomery Summit presented by Macquarie Capital.
First of all, it is Sunny and 75 (again) in Santa Monica for all of you in the rain and snow.
Secondly, we are pleased to announce that the Moneyball Finalists for 2015 will be Shoppable, FogHorn and Heal. Plan to join us for the competition on Tuesday at 5:30. We will have exciting progress to announce from last year’s contestants that will make you wish you partook last year, and will make you want to join this year.
We continue to add new speakers – Gwyneth Paltrow will be joining us at lunch on Tuesday, March 10th. Look for additional surprise guests.
Our own Dennis Kneale has written an insightful piece on disruption in the enterprise technology sector which clearly and succinctly explains a few of the key trends, and highlights some of the winners. Consider it, and his other weekly articles, your pre-Summit study guide.
We are pleased to announce the Montgomery Summit Young Leaders. This group of exceptional individuals will be hosted at the Summit and provided with a tailored program on leadership and innovation.
We have a “sell out crowd” for the Female Founders Event on Monday afternoon, and are expecting approximately 300 female entrepreneurs, executives and investors to join us.
We have added a panel on the Next Billion Connected Devices – Drones, AR/VR, Holograms and Devices moderated by Ben Schachter from Macquarie Capital. Ben is a “gadget guy” and this session on Tuesday afternoon will provide hands-on trials and insight with the latest technologies.
We have limited number of complimentary seats available on our flights between San Jose to Santa Monica during the Summit. Sponsored by Wheels Up, there is no better way than to fly privately to the greatest technology summit. Email Christina Callas at firstname.lastname@example.org to book your exclusive seat.
From March 10 – 11, Silicon Valley will be “closed” as Santa Monica showcases the very best in technology and media. With 145 exceptional private companies and over 20 outstanding speakers set to headline, your time will be well spent at The Montgomery Summit.
Finally, you will have received invitations to various welcome parties on Monday 9 March, and we hope you will be able to attend to kick off the conference with a bang. Registration will be open on Monday afternoon and from 7am Tuesday morning, so feel free to check in, receive your conference name badge and program anytime.
Official programming will start 8.30am on Tuesday morning with company presentations until 5pm. Keynotes, Panels and Salons will be taking place throughout the day. Don’t forget to see keynote addresses from Patrick Soon-Shiong and Fred Luddy at 10am in the Starlight room. We’ll be ending the day with a big party in the Bungalow, featuring live music and the annual visit from the In-n-Out truck.
Start Wednesday with breakfast and more company presentations. Don’t forget to book your Audi A3 e-tron test drive here, and sign up for TSA Pre ✔ booth in the Monty Lounge here. Don’t miss Andy Jassy’s interview at 12.30pm, and Evan Spiegel’s keynote interview at 4pm. The Montgomery Summit will mark the end of its 2015 season with a closing reception from 4.45pm.
We can’t wait to see the tech world descend on Santa Monica in just a few short days, and hope you enjoy The Montgomery Summit as much as we have enjoyed preparing it for you.
