About Moneyball

Witness what happens behind the scenes as three early-stage companies vie for an institutional investment of $100,000 from an expert group of investors and entrepreneurs—along with an audience of over 300 participant attendees. Company pitches are filmed in advance so that on-stage time can be dedicated to Q&A with the judges and competitors.

The judges have discretion to award the winning company an investment of $100,000 on the spot. Investment is also open to qualified investors in the audience, who may invest in the winning company under the same terms as the judges or elect to back either or both of the other finalists, with a minimum investment of $5,000 per company. If the total investment pledged by the audience towards either runner-up exceeds $100,000, the investment can be formalized. Investments are in form of convertible notes into the company’s next round.
