The Rise of the Female Entrepreneur

In addition to its regular agenda, The Montgomery Summit will host a unique, invitation-only event for female leaders in technology, which will precede the conference on Monday, March 7. The event is a stand-alone program that will recognize, support, and celebrate “The Rise of the Female Entrepreneur.” More than 400 female attendees are expected to attend, including entrepreneurs, C-level executives, and partners at leading venture capital firms. The Montgomery Summit has selected 100 female millennial entrepreneurs who will attend the Summit as guests with complimentary registrations in 2016.

Co-chaired by Niloo Howe, Chief Strategy Officer at RSA, and Kate Mitchell, Managing Director at Scale Venture Partners, the event will be keynoted by Victoria Ransom, Founder of Wildfire, and Leen Kawas, CEO and President of M3 Biotechnology. Programming will include a panel on “Building a Successful Tech Company” featuring Ellen Rubin, CEO and Co-founder of ClearSky Data; Juliet de Baubigny, Senior Partner at Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield and Byers; and Liz Pearce, CEO of LiquidPlanner.

The Montgomery Summit introduced the Female Founders program in 2014 to highlight the rising role
of female entrepreneurs and investors in the technology world. In 2015, The Montgomery Summit kicked-off with a 300+ person private reception for female entrepreneurs, investors, and executives. Attendees enjoyed keynotes and panel discussions with some of the most prominent women in technology.
